Got up at 8 and after letting the dogs out and brushing me teeth I drove back to the same Burger King I went to yesterday.
After coffee I drove to another flea market. In the first shop I came to I saw a miniature blue globe that was made out of all different types of rocks. It has a price tag of $20 so I didn't get it. In the next store I came to the make vendor looked alot like Gram Nash of Crosby Stills and Nash. We had a long conversation about many things. I tried to leave several times but he kept prolonging our conversation. I finally left and spent most of the afternoon walking through all the shops. I walked back to the first vendor and bought the blue globe. He sold it to me for $18. I think it is the perfect souvenir for me. Blue for the RT, a globe for the traveler in me and made of different stones which is what Quartzite is known for. Since I hadn't eaten all day I was hungry and asked the vendor if he had a recommendation. He directed me to a family place but it only served breakfast and lunch and was closed when I got there. There was a Mexican restaurant across the street so I ate there, fish tacos since it was Friday.
My friend Blaine sent me the address of his either retreat which is in a subdivision west of town. I drove there and checked it out. When I first got three I noticed a cottontail rabbit hidden amongst some cactus. I took a video as I approached him. I then text Blaine telling him there was an intruder on his property. A Peter Something. He shortly replied asking what I meant. I replied yeah a Peter P. Cottontail and attached the video. After I filled up all my water containers I got back in the road and drove until I was about 10 miles outside of Yuma. I saw an area with several RV and found a nice place to park for the night.
Later I let the dogs out to run free for quite a while. Since it was pretty early I cooked Beef Broccoli for dinner. It was pretty good. I didn't have quite enough broccoli to make it perfect but it wasn't bad. After washing dishes I fed the dogs gave Pete his evening insulin shot and went to bed.
